Dolphin Academy
Our mission is to show the truth behind dolphins despite their popular and sometimes mythological image. We do this by providing an educational meeting place with our programs, where visitors can observe and meet trained bottlenose dolphins in both spacious natural lagoons and the open sea. By providing information and interaction, we hope to stimulate a sense of admiration and fascination based on facts and not fiction. For more information, see http://www.dolphin-academy.com.

Willemstad
Willemstad is the capital of Curaçao, and the former capital of the Netherlands Antilles. The city has approximately 150,000 inhabitants, making it the largest city in the Lesser Antilles. Because of the "Dutch" architecture, Willemstad is sometimes called the "Amsterdam of the Western Hemisphere". However, the architecture of most of the characteristic buildings in Willemstad is of Portuguese origin, and to a lesser extent of Dutch origin. The city is located on the southeast side of Curaçao, on a natural harbor called Schottegat, which is connected to the Caribbean Sea via St. Anna Bay. The boroughs of Otrobanda and Punda lie on either side of the Sint Anna Bay, which have been connected since 1886 by the Queen Emma Bridge (popularly referred to as the Pontbridge). Today, most traffic passes over the Queen Juliana Bridge.
